I recently got the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Rose Gold Lights, and this shade was a pleasant surprise.
When I saw it online, I bought it because I thought it was going to be a copper shade, something a bit more reddish brown. When it arrived, and I saw it was pink in the pan, I was disappointed and I put it away because I thought there was no way a pink highlighter would work on my skintone.
But I decided to put it recently, and I loooove it. On my face, it’s like a pinkey-golden duochrome shade and it is beyond stunning. When worn, it has a golden shift that warms it up and prevents it from looking too ashy on deep skin.

Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lights Highlighter Review
This is a very finely milled highlighter, without a speck of glitter or shimmer in sight. If you love subtle highlighters, you will love this. If you prefer something more attention-grabbing, this might not be for you.
I like it, surprisingly, and it’s quite unique in the sea of gold and copper highlighters that makeup my collection. If you’re a brown girl and you’re into the whole pastel/unicorn makeup trend, you need this shade in your stash.
This retails for $6 at Ulta.
