Makeup Geek Ships to Nigeria. 🎉🎉🎉

Hey guys! Usually my “Ordering From” posts are about shipping to Canada, but I decided to order my MakeupGeek items for delivery to Lagos this time around, and here’s how it went…

I placed my order on the MUG site using Paypal like I always do. That way, I can get a refund if I don’t receive my ordered items for whatever reason. My package was delivered to my house 20  days after it was shipped. I ordered stuff worth $46 plus an extra $7.99 for shipping. I didn’t have to pay duties or taxes or any additional fees at the point of delivery. Nothing was missing or broken. The box was properly packaged and padded so that the items wouldn’t rattle around inside.

Shipping was tracked, and cost only $7.99. MakeupGeek shipping is weight based, so the larger your order, the more you will pay for shipping. I ordered only 4 items. Tracking stopped when the package left the US, but there was a note on the tracking website, telling me when to expect my order. My order arrived 6 days after the stated date, but I will chalk that up to customs delay (customs clearance is always slower here towards the end of the year) and logistical issues within Nigeria.

All my international tracked orders are usually only available for pickup at EMS where I have to sign for the package, so I assumed because this was tracked, that it would follow the same process, but it wasn’t sent to the EMS counter, rather it went to general mail.

Anyhoo, processing the order took only a few days, I believe it was shipped 2 days after I placed the order, and their excellent customer service was there to help with any questions I had. I’ve placed quite a few orders with MakeupGeek over the past year and they’ve been consistently amazing. Fast processing time, affordable  tracked shipping (even to Africa), great customer service.  I’m such a huge huge fan of this brand, and I highly recommend them.

I’m very happy with the process of having my order shipped to Lagos  and I’ll be shipping all my MakeupGeek orders straight to Lagos in the future.
