I have picked up quite a few things from The Ordinary in the past couple of months, and I haven’t done a haul post in such a long time, so I decided to share this haul.
Here’s what I’ve got so far.
Alpha Arbutin 2%: This is one of my favourite products from The Ordinary. It inproves hyperpigmentation by inhibiting the production of melanin in the skin. You can read a full review here.
High Adherence Silicone Primer: This is the best primer I’ve ever used. It is not the overly mattifying; so if you have very oily skin and you live in a humid climate, you will still need to blot, BUT it makes makeup last ALL DAY and it prevents makeup from settling into lines or fading through out the day. I don’t know what magic they put in this tube but it just works. You can read a full review here.
I’m very excited about my latest purchases. They are:
Glycolic Toning Solution 7%: This toner has 7% glycolic acid instead of the usual 5% most of my glycolic acid toners have, and I’m very excited to use this
30 % AHA/ 2% BHA Peeling Solution
A few months ago, Drunk Elephant launched an at home facial treatement that contains 25% AHAs and 2% BHAs. I was very excited about the product, not so much the $80 price tag. Imagine my glee when Deciem came out with this product at a fraction of the price ($12.3 to be precise) . I will be reviewing this in a few days so stay tuned.
Finally, I got the Salicylic Acid 2%. This is supposed to help unclog pores. We’ll see how it goes.
What products have you tried from the Ordinary lately? What are you looking forward to trying? I can’t wait for them to launch their foundations and I will most likely also pick up their Rose Hip Seed Oil.
Update: I have used everything mentioned here and you can read all my The Ordinary product reviews here.
Have you tried anything from this brand? What have you loved or hated?
